Formed from the ashes of Players Club (J.J. Paradise Players Club) in Brooklyn, NY, PIGS began playing in 2008 and is set to release their first full lenth in the spring of 2010

Dave Curran (Unsane, Players Club) transitions to guitar (his first instrument) for this project, writing a few dozen songs during some down time in 2008. Over a beer with James Paradise (Fresh Kills, Players Club), it was decided a band should be formed. Enter Eric Cooper (Made out of Babies, Players Club) and Andrew Schneider (Slughog). Andrew, long time friend and fellow engineer (Keelhaul, Unsane, Sissorfight...), destroys any known convention of Bass as Cooper expertly switches back to guitar. Jim brings the weighty rhythm and backbone to the operation.

The band’s dynamic sound can best be described as watching the inevitable destruction of a pier, as an out of control oil tanker slowly plows through everything.

PIGS just finished recording the new full length which should be out in spring 2010 with tours to follow.
